Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AlronderBot ("the Service"), operated by Alexander Vogel ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of the Service, including users of the Discord bot, website, dashboard, and any related services or applications.

2. Description of Service

AlronderBot is a game server management platform that provides:

• Discord bot integration for game server monitoring and management
• Real-time event notifications (kills, player activity, chat logs)
• Server status monitoring and alerts
• Player statistics and leaderboards
• Web dashboard for configuration and analytics
• Agent software for connecting game servers

The Service currently supports SCUM and Minecraft game servers, with additional games planned for future releases.

3. Beta Service

AlronderBot is currently in Beta. By using the Service during the beta period, you acknowledge that:

• The Service may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
• Features may change, be added, or removed without prior notice
• Service availability is not guaranteed during the beta period
• Data collected during beta may be reset or deleted
• Beta access codes are personal and non-transferable
• We appreciate feedback to help improve the Service

4. User Accounts

4.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must authenticate via Discord OAuth2. By doing so, you authorize us to access certain information from your Discord account as described in our Privacy Policy.

4.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your Discord account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your use complies with Discord's Terms of Service
• Providing accurate information when required

4.3 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service, in accordance with Discord's age requirements.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

AlronderBot offers free and paid subscription tiers. Features available in each tier are described on our pricing page and may change over time.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through LemonSqueezy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.

5.3 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard. After cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; please contact us at [email protected].

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Distribute malware, spam, or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal gambling or fraudulent activities
• Collect personal information from other users without consent

7. Game Server Integration

7.1 Agent Software

To connect your game server, you must install our Agent software. By installing the Agent, you:

• Grant us permission to read game server logs
• Acknowledge that the Agent will communicate with our servers
• Accept responsibility for compliance with your hosting provider's terms

7.2 Server Ownership

You must have the legal right to connect any game server to our Service. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with the game's terms of service and your hosting provider's policies.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and design) is owned by Alexander Vogel and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10.2 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Discord and various game platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of these third-party services.

10.3 Game Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of game data, statistics, or notifications. Data processing depends on game server log formats which may change.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alexander Vogel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Errors or inaccuracies in the Service
• Any third-party conduct or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server, disconnecting your game servers, and cancelling any active subscription.

12.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For consumers within the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may apply. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
